In just a few years, Focal headphones have acquired international renown and have been hailed by all the influential magazines. The French manufacturer returns at the start of 2021 with a new closed-back headset called Focal Celestee. As beautiful as it is efficient, it benefits from an exclusive Navy Blue finish by Doris Bolck as well as a new acoustic treatment inside the ear cups.
New acoustic treatment
For the realization of the Celestee, the Focal engineers started from the developments carried out for the Elegia, by bringing crucial optimizations such as a new acoustic treatment. The 40 mm aluminum/magnesium M dome driver can thus be expressed without resonances, favoring tonal balance and sonic precision. For the rest, we find the recipes that made the success of the other Focal headphones, namely an aluminum yoke and generous circum-auricular earpads ensuring exceptional comfort.
Exclusive Navy Blue finish
The Focal Celestee headphones are made in France. The assembly is remarkable, and the materials used of great nobility. We can thus highlight the semi-aniline leather earpieces or the sumptuous Navy Blue finish. An exclusive finish, signed by designer Doris Bolck, which goes perfectly with the bronze and copper accents of the rings. Finally, it is important to underline its reasonable impedance of 35 Ohms, allowing listening from a simple smartphone. A headphone amp is of course recommended to exploit its full potential.
The new Focal Celestee headphones will be on display this weekend in the BH stores in Boulogne and Paris 11. You can compare it with more than 50 other audio headphones… Just to see what it really has in store!
