Grado Labs: Brooklyn helmets go to “e” series

[ad_1]

Grado Labs is more than 60 years of history and tradition. Today, the most famous manufacturer of Hi-Fi made in Brooklyn presents us with a third generation of audiophile headphones (“e” series).

The House grade has existed since 1953, and its founder Joseph Grado opened the Brooklyn factory in 1955, on the site of the grocery store where his father, originally from Sicily, was once born. The rest of the story? A succession of cells and of audiophile headphones universally recognized for their exceptional performance. And incidentally, Grado is credited as the inventor of the moving coil cartridge…

For more than 60 years, grade hand-crafts helmets and cartridges endowed with a real soul… You only have to listen to them to be convinced! Today, John Grado and his sons return with a 3rd generation helmets audio, identifiable by the presence of a “e” at the end of the reference (the previous generation had an “i”). In terms of improvements, there is a upgrade of all components, which are optimized for the occasion to provide better dynamics and higher fidelity. The hulls also benefit from decisive improvements: whether it is the Polycarbonate SpaceBlack owner, or wood Mahogany whose specific maturation makes it possible to reduce the coloration of the signal.

Another development: the rhodium, arguably the most precious metal in the world, has been used to prevent corrosion on connectors, and eliminate sound graininess. The speakers have also been revisited, to reproduce the frequencies of your music with unparalleled precision… These are the most successful transducers of the manufacturer’s history! If the design does not change (or very little), a few aesthetic retouching have nevertheless been applied, in order to reduce the interaction of vibrations with the transducer. The engineers grade also worked on themagnetic field tuning…Even the glue is new: optimized for better hold, lower mass, and greater durability.

find the third generation of Grado helmets, with the series Prestige (SR60e, SR80e, SR125e, SR225e, SR325e), Professional (PS500e, PS1000e), Reference (RS1e, RS2e) and statement (GS1000e). THE real favorite of the beginning of 2015!
